Research Team of Prof. Min Jang Develops Mesoporous MOF/Graphene Oxide Adsorbents for Effective Removal of Fluoride Ions and Identifies Removal Mechanism

The research team of Professor Min Jang in the Department of Environmental Engineering at Kwangwoon University has announced that Soyeon Yoon (first author), Choeun Jong (co-corresponding author), and Prof. Eunha Choi (Director) of the Plasma Bio Center (PBRC) and Prof. Min Jang (Vice director) have developed mesoporous composite adsorbents of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOF) and Graphene Oxide (GO) for the effective removal of fluoride ions from water and identified the fluoride removal mechanism through ATR-FTIR and in-situ Raman analysis.
