Kwangwoon University-ETRI Develops Metasurface-based Liquid Identification Sensor Using Vision AI

- Development of Liquid Identification Sensor Using Metasurface Device and AI Algorithm -

- Reliability Improvement by Learning Physical Optical Response With Vision AI Algorithm -

- Identification of Various Liquid Chemicals With Over 99% Accuracy -

- Selected as Cover Paper for ACS Photonics -

Prof. Lee Sang-shin's research team (Department of Electronic Engineering) at Kwangwoon University, through joint research with Dr. Kim Jin-tae of the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), succeeded in developing a liquid identification sensor with high reliability by fusing micro-scale metasurface and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
