The research team led by Professor Nam-Young Kim (Department of Electronic Engineering) at Kwangwoon University announced that they succeeded in developing an IDC-based sponge-like PVDF/LiCl nanoporous high-sensitivity humidity sensor together with doctoral student Kangbuld Anghjaya (first author).

This research was supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) Key Research Institute Support Project supported by the Ministry of Education and the Basic Science Research Program through the Graduate School of the Ministry of Environment (MOE). The research results were published under the title of “Highly Sensitive Interdigitated Capacitive Humidity Sensors Based on Sponge-Like Nanoporous PVDF/LiCl Composite for Real-Time Monitoring” in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces (IF=10.383), an internationally renowned journal published by ACS Publication.
