Faculty Meeting for the 1st Semester of the 2024 academic year

The opening faculty meeting for the 1st semester of 2024 took place at the Saebit Building on the February 14^th, with the attendance of Chairman Seon-yeong Cho of the Kwangwoon Foundation, President Jangho Chun, members of the academic affairs committee, and all professors affiliated with the university. The event included introductions of retiring and new faculty members, and reports on the status of work by major departments and the faculty council in preparation for the upcoming semester.

Chairman Seon-yeong Cho of the Kwangwoon Foundation said, "I look forward to the infinite development of Kwangwoon as we celebrate the 90th anniversary of the school this year through the resolutions that unite the members of the faculty through the opening faculty meeting."

President Jangho Chun, upon his inauguration, stated, "I will do my best to awaken students' self-esteem, create opportunities for staff motivation, and foster a butterfly effect for innovative research and passionate teaching by professors."

Meanwhile, through the faculty meeting, the university shared its policies and directions, and took steps toward "integration," "collaboration," and "unity" of members of Kwangwoon under the concept of one Kwangwoon in preparation for the 90th anniversary of the university in 2024.
