International Conference 'Light Conference Week (LCW) 2023’

Sa-yeo(10th semester of the integrated master's and doctoral program, pictured),
a student in the laboratory of Professor Lee Sangshin, received the Best Paper
Award (Poster Category) for her research on 'Femtosecond laser-induced
high-spatial-frequency periodic surface structures on gold for color printing
(Authors: Jang Sa-yeo, Lee Woo Bin, Stuart Aberdeen, Lee Sangshin),' which was
presented at the Light Conference Week 2023 last August.
Meanwhile, Professor Lee Sangshin serves as the director of the 'Nano Device Application Research Center' and has been actively conducted research on various topics, including photonic devices for optical communication, nano-optoelectronic devices, and optical sensors. He has published over 170 papers in renowned SCI journals overseas. Furthermore, he is also conducting research on core technologies related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as silicon photonic-based LiDAR sensors for autonomous driving and wireless optical communication devices, with support from organizations such as the National Research Foundation of Korea."
