Chemistry Department Professors Together Donate 120 Million KRW to University Development Fund

The chemistry department professors of our university donated a total of 120 million KRW to the development fund on August 17^th.

Department head Lee Yoon-mi stated, 'I am pleased that the chemistry department professors came together with a united heart to participate in the donation. I hope that this small contribution will not only contribute to Kwangwoon University's development but also aid in fostering talent within the chemistry department.'

President Kim Jong-heon remarked, 'The chemistry department professors have been practicing donations for over 20 years with a love for the university. We express our gratitude for their commitment to continuous giving through this meaningful donation ceremony.'

The funds raised by the chemistry department professors for fostering departmental talent have been actively encouraging students from challenging backgrounds to focus on their studies since 2010. They have awarded living support scholarships to approximately 20 students so far.
