A research team led by Professor Nam-Young Kim from the Department of Electrical Engineering at our university has successfully developed a highly responsive capacitive tactile sensor using AI technology, in collaboration with Doctoral candidate Moon-Sam Woo (the first author) from the Department of Electrical Engineering.

This research was supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) Center for Advanced Soft Electronics under the Ministry of Education and the Basic Science Research Program through the Korea Ministry of Environment's (MOE) Graduate School. The research findings were published in the prestigious international journal InfoMat Journal (IF=24.798) by Wiley, under the title 'Advances in flexible sensors for intelligent perception system enhanced by artificial intelligence'.
