Prof. Lee Sang-mins Research Team Selected Excellent Project for AI Human Resources Training Voucher Support Project

Prof. Lee Sang-min’s Research Team Selected as an Excellent Project for AI Human Resources

The AI as a Service Research Lab (Prof. Lee Sang-min) of Kwangwoon University was selected as an excellent case for AI education supplier in the AI Human Resources Training Voucher Support Project conducted by the Seoul Creative Economy Innovation. Kwangwoon University's Industry-University Cooperation Foundation and Cubic Tech Co., Ltd. carried out an educational project with the goal of nurturing manufacturing, customized AI manpower for detecting unstructured data and multivariate time series anomalies.

Professor Lee Sang-min of the AI Service Lab, who participated as a supplier company, operated AI training that demand companies can utilize in various fields for AI education and practical application such as data collection and pre-processing plans, identifying and processing missing/outliers, class imbalance problem, data augmentation technique, statistical learning methods for specialized analysis of manufacturing data, etc through this project. A total of more than 4,000 hours of training was conducted for 270 hours of training for 6 months from June to the end of November 2022 for 15 trainees. Through this project, a total of three projects, including anomaly detection, time-series analysis-based demand forecasting, and image-based leak detection, were selected as an excellent case among AI education providers in terms of providing a basis for practical application.
