Kwangwoon University ROTC selected as “2020 Excellent ROTC”

Kwangwoon University (President Yoo Jisang) 142^nd Kwangwoon University Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) was selected as “2020 Excellent ROTC” in a comprehensive evaluation of the national ROTC hosted by the ROK Army Training & Doctrine Command.

The comprehensive evaluation of ROTCs was selected from 110 universities across Korea, including on-campus education, troop management, combat compliance, discipline, training performance of candidates, university support and results of candidate acquisition.

Since its establishment in 1966, Kwangwoon University ROTC has produced more than 2400 officers from 53 jockeys.

Colonel Kim Jae-hong, head of Kwangwoon University ROTC, said, “There has been good results because all members have thought positively and actively practiced it” he added, “We will continue to do our best to train honorable officers who have the right personality and are faithful to basics.”
