To prevent the spread of COVID-19, visits to the immigration office without prior online reservation are prohibited from September 1, 2020. Therefore, we will guide you through online application for international students' visa applications as follows.
※ Please make full use of the online visa extension through HiKorea as it may not be possible to do group application on campus. Re-announcement will be made about group application confirmation on September 11, Friday.
■ Visa Extension
1. Application method
A. e-Application: HiKorea(www.hikorea.go.kr) > e-Application(Detailed information in attachment "첨부 1")
Weekdays 07:00 to 22:00(Excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays)
B. Reserve visit: HiKorea(www.hikorea.go.kr) > Reserve visit > Visit Reservation Application (Non-member) > Identity verification using passport or ARC number > Book your visit date and time > Visit immigration office on the reservation date

Proof of Financial Capacity | *“Certificate of Bank balance” of your Korean account with 10,000USD or transaction history for the last 1 year with average balance of 1,000,000KRW per month and deposit of at least 750,000KRW every month for living expenses *Must maintain the balance until extension has been approved. In case of a sudden change in balance before approval, may request for a new proof of bank balance or extension may be rejected. | ||

3. Notes
A. You cannot visit immigration office without a reservation (even those who expire on the same day are required to make a reservation, and waiting number tickets are not issued)
B. HiKorea e-Application can be applied up to one day before the visa expiration date (Excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays)
C. Required preparation of balance certificate (Reduction system based on grades is limited to group application in March 2020)
D. Students taking a leave of absence for the 2020 Fall semester, whose visa expires before 2020.09.30. must leave the country before the expiration date.
However, if your departure ticket is in October, you must apply for permission to extend the departure period through the HiKorea e-Application! (Required documents: Passport, 1 ticket with departure date)
