Three Stars, “2011 서울 매트로 대학문화축제 참가”

본교의 로보트연구회(로랩), 바람(제어과 소모임), 전자연구회(키텔)로 구성된 “광운대 Three Stars”팀은 지난 2011년 5월 16일부터 19일까지 총 4일간 대학문화 축제에 참여하여 노원역 역사 내에서 전시회를 개최하였다.

서울 매트로 주최로 열린 이번 대학문화축제는 08년도부터 올해까지 총 4회를 맞이한 각 대학을 대표하는 동아리가 참여하는 큰 연례행사이다. 10년도에 최우수상을 수상한 경험이 있는 Three Stars팀의 참여는 올해로 2회째를 맞이하였으며 이번 전시회에 총 17가지 작품을 출품하였고, 출품작으로는 휴머노이드 3종, 라인트레이서, 세그웨이 등 여러 작품이 있었으며 이뿐만 아니라 직접 개발한 어플리케이션과 프로그램을 전시하는 등 다방면으로 각 동아리의 실력을 선보여 이에 역을 이용하는 시민들의 반응이 대단하였다.

이번 Three Stars 전시의 총괄을 맡은 이용건(전자공학과 10학번/키텔 소속)학생과 각 동아리, 소모임 대표 이상욱(전자공학과 06학번/로랩 소속)학생, 김태호(제어공학과 07학번/바람 소속)학생은 “이번 전시를 통하여 단순히 각 동아리와 소모임이란 틀에서 벗어나 하나가 되어 자신이 만든 작품을 들고 시민들에게 소개하고 시연하는 기회를 갖게되어 매우 기뻤고 또 이를 통해 많은것을 배울 수 있었다“ 며 ”앞으로도 이러한 세 동아리 및 소모임의 잦은 교류를 통해 광운대학교와 Three Stars 라는 이름을 널리 알릴 수 있도록 노력하겠다“ 라고 말했다. 마지막으로 이번 전시회를 준비하고 진행한 각 동아리, 소모임의 임원들과 회원들 그리고 본 행사를 참여할 수 있도록 물적, 금전적 지원을 해준 본교측에 감사함을 전했다.

Three Stars Participates in 2011, Seoul Metro University Culture Festival

“Kwangwoon University Three Stars”, the team consisted of our school’s Robot Research Lab (RoLab), Baram (a small group of Dept. of Info. & Control Eng) and Electronic Research Group (Kitel) participated in the University Culture Festival for total of 4 days from May 16^th to May 19^th, 2011, and held an exhibition in Nowon Station Building.

The University Cultural Festival is an annual large event which has been held by Seoul Metro for the total of four times from the year ’08 to this year participated by university student interest groups representing each universities. Three Star Team with the experience to win the grand award in the year of ’10 participates in the event for the second time in this year displaying 17 works including 3 humanoids, a line-tracer, a segway, etc. Also, the team introduces abilities of the interest groups in various ways by showing applications and programs developed by the members receiving great responses from the citizens using the station.

Lee, Yong-gun (Dept. of Electronic Engineering, entered in ’10 / Kitel member) in charge of general management of the display, and Lee, Sang-wook (Dept. of Electronic Engineering, entered in ’06 / RoLab member) and Kim, Tae-ho (Dept. of Info. & Control Engineering, entered in ’07, / Baram member) representing their own groups say “through this exhibition, we were happy for being out of boundaries of own interest groups and small groups to be united as one team to introduce our own works to the citizens.” And, they continued, “from now on, through frequent exchanges among the groups, we will make our efforts to make Kwangwoon University and Three Stars known more to the public.” Finally, they showed their gratitude to the groups and the executives of the groups who prepared and proceeded activities for the exhibition as well as to the school who financed and supported with materials for participation of the exhibition.
