- Developed the high-capacity and long-life electrode material technology using affordable and eco-friendly manganese oxide nanostructure

- Developed a high-energy-density energy storage device that eliminates a fire risk using eco-friendly aqueous electrolytes

- Can be used as a power source for ESS, electric vehicles, and electronic devices

Professor Shin Won-ho's team (Department of Electronic Materials Engineering) at Kwangwoon University has developed the electrode material technology for an aqueous electrolyte supercapacitor that eliminates the risk of fire, which is a fatal shortcoming of existing organic-based electrolytes in energy storage systems.
